By the end: Introduce yourself and say where you are from.
Finnish verbs carry a personal ending, so the pronoun is often dropped. olla goes: minä olen, sinä olet, hän on, me olemme, te olette, he ovat. The negative uses en/et/ei + ole: en ole, et ole, hän ei ole.
Notice the difference
In the negative, ei carries the person and olla drops to the stem ole.
Usual slip
Minä on opiskelija.
Minä olen opiskelija.
on belongs to hän only; minä always takes olen.
